Information about Low Cost Fares

1. Tickets may be booked and purchased either at authorized ticket offices or online at www.sena.it.

2. Current low cost promotion is valid from 1st March 2010 and until further communication. Christmas time, Easter time as well as July and August are not included in the promotional period. Promotion offers low cost fares for a limited number of seats only for some specific rides and days. Promotional rides are identified by special fare mark on the tab-price list in the online booking/detail entering page on this website. In annual projection special fares are valid only for some days of the week and only for some rides and are identified by SPECIAL FARE blinking mark. In annual projection, 50.000 seats out of the total available on all lines under promotion will be subjected to promotion.

3. Promotion applies only to the following Sena bus lines: Siena – Rome, Siena – Milan, Siena – Bologna, Grosseto-Siena-Venice, Tuscany – Puglia, Freccia dell'Appennino, Sala Consilina - Pisa including connection rides.

4. Together with standard fares, two special fares apply to Siena – Rome, Siena – Milan, Siena – Bologna and Grosseto-Siena-Venice lines:
A) LOW COST 10: 10,00 € price, for tickets booked and purchased at least 10 days before departure date;
B) LOW COST 15: 15,00 € price, for tickets booked and purchased at least 5 days before departure date.

5. THREE SPECIAL FARES apply for Freccia dell’Appennino (Siena-Ascoli Piceno and Pisa/Florence-Sulmona):
A) 80% DISCOUNT on standard one-way ticket price, for tickets purchased at least 15 days before departure date;
B) 50% DISCOUNT on standard one-way ticket price, for tickets purchased at least 10 days before departure date;
C) 30% DISCOUNT on standard one-way ticket price, for tickets purchased at least 5 days before departure date.

6. A LIMITED AMOUNT of tickets is sold, and only for some specific rides;
- Low cost or special price tickets are strictly PERSONAL;
- Low cost or special price tickets CAN NOT BE REFUNDED;
- Low cost or special price tickets are NOT-TRANSFERABLE;
- Low cost or special price tickets CAN NOT BE CHANGED.

7. To Sala Consilina – Pisa, special fares are available only during some periods of the year and for some days of the week: please check the offers available for the selected date on the line price list at the moment of purchase.

10. Passengers must print out the “Travel Overview”. “Travel Overview” will allow a prompt confirmation of the trip on the passenger list by our staff. “Travel Overview” grants access on board only if the transaction is confirmed on the passenger list, that means if “Travel Overview” properly contains all the information recorded on the “Electronic Ticket”. In order to allow the identification of the ticket owner you must present yourself with an ID document in hand.

11. Passengers with no “Travel Overview” shall pay full-price ticket plus on-board issue additional fee.
